It’s been a while since we last played mournful synthesisers over Bruce Dern playing poker with some robots, so we figured it might be about time to bring the project back to life.
After all, loads of people bought the soundtrack record but only a few people (relatively) can have ever seen the whole thing performed in context, right? So we’re doing TWO PERFORMANCES ONLY at Convergence Festival, in London, both on 27th April. It’s not a big room, so we don’t know how long tickets will be available for this.
More info HERE. Line-up also includes Fuck Buttons and Ben Frost. Nice.
The record is still available digitally through our digital store HERE. Who knows, if this goes well we might re-press an edition of the vinyl. Listen to ‘Burial Scene’ from the soundtrackHERE
In celebration of the ten-year anniversary of our debut album and the now sold-out Fall of Math show at Koko this March, Monotreme Records is making the record available on sweet, pure, heavyweight vinyl, in a limited pressing of one thousand.
This is available to pre-order right now through the Monotreme Records Webstore and comes with a CD copy of the record and download codes for the associated Hole EP and Retreat Retreat b-sides and video, as well as a poster. A very generous package as we’re sure you’ll agree.
We hope to have these available at all regular and anniversary shows this spring, but the pre-order is going fast so it might be worth not waiting around to find out if it sells out or not.
Right, so, there’s a bunch of spring dates in March/April around the UK and Europe. We need to stress that the *only* UK Fall of Math show (this is where we are playing two sets, the first being our debut album in its entirety), is the Koko show, London. This is sold out, so apologies for that. HOWEVER, there is a very good chance that we will be airing some of the rarer tracks off that record during the shows either side of this.
We’re very happy to announce that the excellent Thought Forms are main support for all shows (UK and Europe), with the exception of Koko, where support comes from the equally-excellent Nathan Fake. These spring dates in full look like this:

If that wasn’t enough 65, there’s new t-shirt designs up in our online store for those of you who like wearing t-shirts. There’s other stuff as well, like Wild Light on clear vinyl, for those of you who don’t. Here’s one of the new designs with a satellite on that we particularly like:
